An original 1968 Les Paul Custom that was specially ordered from the factory as a three pickup model. This fantastic "player" guitar was professionally re-finished, probably during the eighties. She weighs just 9.50 lbs. Solid mahogany body with mapletop, one-piece mahogany neck with a medium-to-thin profile, and white-bound ebony fretboard with 22 thin 'fretless-wonder' frets and inlaid pearl block position markers. Three patent number humbucking pickups with strong outputs of 7.68k, 7.76k, and 8.51k. The potentiometers are stamped "137 6852" (CTS December 1968). ABR-1 non-retainer Tune-O-Matic bridge with metal saddles and separate stud tailpiece. Housed in an original early 60's Gibson black hardshell case (7.00).
