Electric Guitars were an unfairly over-looked Bristol post punk band (in the Wire-XTC mould) who released a couple of excellent singles before disbanding circa 1983. I came across the band through a Stiff Records retrospective, then worked my way back through their catalogue picking up this edgy new wave gem released on the wonderfully titled "Fried Egg Records"... Accompanying imagery from a charming, but very much 'of its time' CFF film called "Hunted in Holland" full of picture postcard imagery from the Netherlands. Here a group of typically bold and resourceful kids foil imbecilic jewelry thieves with the help of rolling cheese balls and a friendly guitar-strumming bargee.
